As a result of engagement with the Secretary General of CARICOM, the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War is now being reviewed by the Committee on Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR) to be brought up for vote, which would create a standard for each CARICOM member state to implement through legislation the infrastructure and culture necessary to spread peace at a national and regional level.  

Food Drive

Haiti Food Drive

CCLP partnered with the former Minister of Youth of Haiti to host a food drive that provided 500 food kits to feed nearly 1,000 Haitians.

St. Kitts National Legislation

Through meetings and consultations, the Cabinet of St. Kitts and Nevis is currently reviewing the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War as well as the potential for implementing youth and peace education initiatives to create the infrastructure for a culture of peace in St. Kitts and promoting the same for the entire Caribbean region.

Dominica Peace Walk

With 2 former Prime Ministers in Dominica, through the CCLP Dominica also saw a peace walk take place. It involved over 1,000 youth from schools across the island who were empowered to see that peace is possible and realize themselves as peace messengers through connecting with and hearing from government leaders about their role in achieving
